Basic Stir Fry

I’ve been making this more and more often.  Quantities are approximate.


1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 large garlic gloves
1 cup green beans, in 2″ pieces
1 cup broccoli florrets
1/2 cup tofu, in small cubes

Sauce (mix together): 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp. water, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper


Heat oil in wok over medium-high heat.  Add garlic and stir for 10 seconds.  Add green beans and broccoli and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.  Add tofu and stir fry for one minute.  Add sauce mixture and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.  Serve over steamed rice.
